Job Description

Purpose of Job:

The position of Assistant Marketing Manager will be an important addition to the Marketing Team at the Central Support Office, playing a key role in brand building for The House Collective and EAST brands. The scope is to lead project management of brand-building projects, principally (i) development and implementation of creative assets and (ii) art & design programmes, with considerable room to propose new initiatives that serve our marketing objectives. • Lead project management and implementation of key brand-building projects
• Liaise and coordinate with respective hotel property teams for development and implementation of said projects
• Support Sales and Internal Communications’ needs for brand communications materials

Reporting Relationships:

  • Report to the Senior Marketing Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and keep track of project status of the development & implementation of:
    • New brand communications assets, working with the agency partner
    • New visual identity, collateral and amenities, working with the agency partner
    • Art programmes for our brands
  • Work with agencies to deliver on above projects
  • Work closely with hotel property teams to develop an understanding of their needs and priorities, check for feedback and input, follow through to implement centrally-developed brand assets and brand direction on a local level, and assist their marketing needs where relevant
  • Work with PR, social media, digital, sales team and internal communications leads to support holistic, integrated marketing efforts
  • Work with co-branding partners to develop collaborations
  • Fluently articulate the rearticulated brand directions to internal and external stakeholders and potential partners

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • University or post-graduate diploma or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience involving brand marketing and/or art and design programming
  • Candidate with employment or residency in Hong Kong currently is preferred
  • International mindset with a certain understanding of mainland China consumer behaviour is ideal
  • Strong project management and problem solving capability
  • Strong executional skills
  • Resourceful, energetic, confident, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, able to work well independently and together with the team
  • Strong communication skills – written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin)
  • Passion for design, creativity and travel
