The appointee will perform the full range of duties as the Assistant Registrar of the QF&QR unit in assisting in the development, maintenance, and the day-to-day implementation of the Qualifications Register. Major duties include vetting of QR records, monitoring the QR enquiries, communication and liaison with QR operators (both HKCAAVQ-accredited and self-accrediting), and government bureaux, development and review of guidance notes and vetting procedures, maintenance and development of the QR system, project management, and staff monitoring.
Applicants should hold a first degree comparable to HKQF Level 5, preferably with a post-graduate degree at HKQF Level 6 or above, with at least 5 years of post-qualification relevant work experience, preferably in education, training or quality assurance. We are looking for an individual who has a good understanding of the education system in Hong Kong; good analytical, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills; and excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua. Being proactive, reflective, independent as well as a good team player is essential. Exposure to quality assurance of education and training, knowledge in the Qualifications Framework and the QR, and experience in project management would be an advantage.
