About the Team

Credit & Control Section is mainly responsible for preparing various kinds of credit applications (new, renewal, amendment & waiver) for company’s credit customers, including financial analysis, cash flow modeling and industry analysis; and to handle subsequent enquiries from related Credit Division. The team also conducts monitoring function—to identify potential credit problem of our customers and recommend and implement appropriate action in case the unfavorable trend develop


Role requirements

  • To follow the policy & direction of the Section & to assist superiors in accomplishing the Section’s overall duties & responsibilities at all times.
  • To handle all credit related matters including review of latest financials of obligors upon receipt of financial statements, rating review, L-T loan review, compliance of credit approval conditions and instructions, security control and submission of information for credit assessment by H.O.
  • To attend to documentation matters of existing and new transactions after credit approval.
  • To constantly review existing credit commitments to identify potential credit problems and to ensure conformity with agreement terms; to recommend and implement appropriate actions should an unfavorable trend develops.
  • To support and work together with RM Sections to achieve the Department profit and business targets assigned by the Management.
  • To assist Section Head in the implementation of certain credit and general management policies.
  • Caution instruction Issue, subject to relevant Procedure manual & The Management’s instruction issued from time to time.

Essential Functions

  • To support in overall daily operation of the Team and ensure the quality.
  • To review the credit proposals/applications/renewals submitted by credit analysts; and to handle personally the most complex accounts when necessary.
  • Caution instruction Issue, subject to relevant Procedure manual & The Management’s instruction issued from time to time.
  • To prepare Monitoring report (e.g. Close Watch etc.) and covenants checking report etc. on schedule.
  • Provide cover for other CCS members for holiday / sickness
  • To perform any other duties assigned by section head.


  • We are looking for an individual who is able to proactively initiate changes and improvements for higher productivity/performance.
  • The individual should proposes team strategy and practical action plans for the Team/Section;
  • The individual respects for, and commits to, high standards of business conduct and integrity in promoting deals/projects, and conducting operations/reporting, etc.

Work experience, education and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree holder; with CFA, CPA or HKAB qualifications an advantage;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in credit analysis;
  • Proficiency in English, Chinese and Mandarin;
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word and Excel.
