Job Summary:

The job holder is accountable for formulating and executing plans to develop the corporate clients assigned to them, with the objectives to drive year-on-year growth and transform the relationship into strategic partnership by pro-actively manage client relationships and developing and executing specific business initiatives for the clients, as well as delivering market leading services.

Result Areas:

  • Deploy effective and efficient sales and marketing strategies to grow offshore clients including PRC
  • Resourceful and able to create new client relationships
  • Significantly increase the sales from offshore market by acquiring new and profitable partnership, as well as deepen relationship with existing distributors
  • Strong Technical Knowledge in Individual Life business
  • Develop training and marketing programs to raise the profile of Manulife and select hero products for offshore market
  • Lead and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop a competitive sales platform
  • Keep abreast of the market development and regulatory requirement and ensure a high standard of internal compliance and control

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Degree holder with major in Business or Finance
  • 3-5 years in business development field
  • Demonstrable track record of success


  • Able to create a positive work relationship internally and externally
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and problem solving skills
  • Good customer service and continuous improvement orientation
  • Good teamwork
  • PC literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
