About the Team

Credit Analysis & Control Section is responsible for preparing various kinds of credit applications (new, renewal, amendment & waiver) for CBD2’s credit customers, including financial analysis, cashflow modeling and industry analysis; and to handle subsequent enquiries from related Credit Division.

 

Role requirements

  • Work closely with relationship managers to achieve the business targets;
  • Prepare various kinds of credit proposals (new, renewal, amendment & waiver) including financial analysis, cash flow modeling and industry analysis;
  • Handle all credit related matters including review of latest financials, credit rating, loan review to ensure that all relevant activities are in compliance with the requirement of the Bank and regulatory authority;
  • Attend to documentation matters of existing and new transactions after approval;
  • Constantly monitor the existing credit commitments and identify potential credit issues, as well as recommend and implement appropriate actions accordingly.

 

Essential Functions

  • The individual handles credit rating application for company’s credit customers
  • He/she performs coordination for the credit inspection works initiated by internal or external parties
  • The individual would support and work together with marketing function to achieve the division profit target and business target assigned by the management

Work experience, education and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines; with CFA, ACCA, CPA or FRM qualifications an advantage;
  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in credit analysis and credit proposal preparation covering local corporates;
  • Strong financial analysis and cash flow projection skills with knowledge of bilateral/syndicated loan facility and derivative products;
  • Experience in covering clients across different segments (blue chips, mid cap, FI/NBFI and MNC) with knowledge of trade finance and structured facility is an advantage;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
