About the Team

Credit & Control Section is responsible for preparing various kinds of credit applications (new, renewal, amendment & waiver) for company’s credit customers, including financial analysis, cashflow modeling and industry analysis; and to handle subsequent enquiries from related Credit Division.

 

Role requirements

  • To prepare various kind of credit proposals and analysis and answer enquiries from Credit Division;
  • To handle all credit-related matters including review of latest financials, rating review, S-T loan review, compliance of credit approval conditions and instruction;
  • To attend to documentation matters of existing and new transactions after approval;
  • To constantly monitor the existing commitments and identify potential credit issues, recommend and implement appropriate actions;
  • To support and work together with relationship managers.

 

Essential Functions

  • The individual prepares credit rating applications for company’s credit customers
  • He/she handles all credit related matters including monitoring the receipt of financials and compliance of covenants and monitoring the compliance of related system
  • The individual coordinates for company the credit inspection works initiated by internal or external parties
  • He/she is responsible constantly reviewing existing credit commitments to identify potential credit problems
  • The individual has to recommend and implement appropriate action should an unfavorable trend develops
  • He/she is responsible for supporting and working together with Marketing Function to achieve the Department profit target and business targets assigned by the Management

  • We are looking for an individual who has mind-set to proactively initiate changes and improvements for higher productivity/performance
  • The individual should proactively manages regular work without SH’s instruction and handles irregular cases by obtaining necessary information and analyzing pervious cases
  • The individual respects for and commits to high standards of business conduct and integrity in conducting operations, reporting and etc.

 

Work experience, education and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines; with CFA, CPA or HKAB qualifications an advantage;
  • Minimum 5 years’ credit analysis and credit proposal preparation experience covering PRC corporates;
  • Strong financial analysis and financial projection skills with sound product and industry knowledge on PRC corporations;
  • Proficiency in English & Chinese, fluency in Mandarin is preferred;
  • Good PC skills in MS Word and Excel.
