(Senior) Brand Manager - FMCG MNC

Our client is a well-know FMCG MNC. Currently, they are looking for a (Senior) Brand Manager to look after their star portfolios.

about the job

Brand Stewardship

  • Deeply understand consumer needs and be able to translate this into actionable innovation and communication insights.
  • Ensure the consistency of all new campaigns with the brand guidelines: both at the time of development and execution in market.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities to recommend actions.
  • Brand Operations: Prepare content and lead project team meetings, budget tracking, and be the key contact point for local partners.

Innovation Development

  • Support concept development and lead validation in key markets.
  • Collaborate in product development in consultation with R&D teams.
  • Lead business case development to ensure financially sound innovations.
Packaging and Claims Development
  • Lead the Packaging and Claims development for global innovations with the cross functional team.
  • Steer local packaging adaptations to ensure consistency with the global master.
  • Lead the qualitative and quantitative validation of packaging work.

Communication and Activation Development

  • Support campaign idea development & validation across multiple countries.
  • Support message strategy and consumer journey development to build multifunctional toolkit development.
  • Support development, validation and production of marketing assets (e.g. TVC/Film; Key Visuals; Consumer; Digital)
  • Support alignment of cross functional toolkit to overall message strategy.

requirements
  • Solid Brand Marketing & Management experience in FMCG / Consumer market
  • Solid understanding of marketing strategy and tactics
  • Outstanding organizational skills to ensure tight deadlines are met both internally and externally
  • Prior P&L and budget ownership and understanding of accounting principles
  • Resilience in dealing with ambiguity and change
