Job Description

  • Launching, executing and expanding our Brand Protection Program, including the BP audit.
  • To implement and maintain company Brand Protection standards and Anti-counterfeiting measures and guidelines throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Responsible for identifying and investigating criminal activity relating to Intellectual Property and Trademark violations for all of the Carter’s in Asia Pacific with a primary focus on HK and China, as well as countries/cities being designated for future retail expansion.
  • Conduct brand training to local authorities charged with counterfeit identification and control.
  • Conduct and support regional web investigations.
  • Brand protection training/education to both internal staffs and external supplier partners.
  • Managing Brand Authorization with countries’ custom authority.
  • Continually escalate the vendors’ awareness, discipline, and control according to Carter’s Brand Protection requirement.
  • Perform online and offline market surveys to identify others infringing our Intellectual Property Rights.
  • Preparation of case reports covering investigative details by identifying control weaknesses with recommended solutions.
  • Coordinate efforts with internal team to determine authenticity of infringing products.
  • Coordinate investigative efforts with Private Investigative Groups, Local Law Enforcement, Customs Agencies, and Corporate Attorney’s.
  • Provide testimony and swear to legal documents on behalf of Carter’s brands.
  • Manage and own the Brand Protection programs.
  • Supervise Brand Protection associate in Brand Protection audits and training within our approved manufacturing facilities and review the effectiveness of Brand Protection Program.
  • Analyze supply chain partners and identify potential risks.


  • Bachelor degree is minimum, master degree preferred
  • 3-5 years Investigative experience within a Retail environment
  • Knowledgeable in Intellectual Property Rights
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain and/or manufacturing process
  • Basic experience in interviewing and obtaining written statements
  • Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Power point, along with experience in digital photography
  • Good communication & presentation skills fluent in spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Good problem solving ability and business acumen
  • Good organizing skills and attention to detail is a must
  • Be a team player and be open minded, good interpersonal and leadership skill
  • Be able to work independently, establishing work plans and accomplishing team goals
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels internally and externally
  • Experience in Intellectual Property enforcement or related work is preferred
  • Ability to be on your feet and walk long distances regularly
