The role

ASG Hong Kong require Senior Business Analysts to join our growing team. As the Senior BA you will oversee solutions from user-journeys through to implementations using methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and Waterfall. Formulate different end to end digital solution across different countries, as well as vendor delivering solutions to our client’s clients. Our Regional BA’s will be required to travel within Asia at very short notice.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: -

  • Lead a team of BAs to support solution formulation through collaboration with other groups such as Process Analyst, UX team, Solution Architecture team, etc.
  • Involved in stakeholder management with regional stakeholders, country business users and stakeholders, regional and local BAs
  • Facilitate & drive workshops and meetings to an outcome
  • Quickly come up to speed and understand current state business processes
  • Formulate and obtain agreements on business and functional requirements with stakeholders and delivery partners that will meet the business needs
  • Ensure target to be processes are understood and agreed by relevant parties
  • Coordinates and manages tasks across a variety of business units
  • Assists in the preparation of project scope, goals and deliverables templates and project documents
  • Collaborate with virtual and multicultural teams
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior BA on business analysis and solution development.

To be successful, you must have the following skills and expertise: -

  • A Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology or related discipline   
  • Minimum 5 years of solid business analysis experiences
  • Must be open-minded with strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Strong conceptual skills and ability to exercise flexibility and judgment in a dynamic environment
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills, with excellent task and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels, with good workshop/facilitation skills
  • Able to present confidently to groups and senior shareholders
  • Well organized and attention to detail, flexible with working hours and locations
  • Must be able to travel within Asia at short notice
  • Pro-active, passionate, self-starter with an excellent can-do attitude
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced, changing priorities and technology environment

The following skills would be highly desirable: -

  • Knowledge and experience across customer experience & design.
  • Understanding of digital solutions and how to integrate these elements to create the optimal customer and user experience.
  • Experience in any of insurance (products, administration or distribution domain), Digital Asset Management, Logistics/Supply Chain, ERP, CRM, customer-facing projects
  • Experience / knowledge planning, organizing, and delivering change initiatives
  • Experience in / understanding of testing especially User Acceptance Testing
