Business Development Project Leader Asia Pacific
Daniel Wellington is expanding fast. We are now searching for a Business Development Project leader to lead expansion plans and projects within APAC region (excluding China) with base at our Hong Kong office. This role will report to the Head of Business Development APAC, and in addition to project management you will contribute to the way in how we work with business development projects as well as analysis and insight. This position might involve frequent travelling. The business development team is working in close collaboration with other departments leveraging resources across the company.
WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO
- Make business case and business plans for different countries within APAC as well as supporting with the overall business plan for APAC
- Plan and lead expansion projects
- Plan and lead other types of business development projects
- Assist Head of Business Development and General Managers to evaluate new countries and locations, expansion and new market projects, as well as identify resources needed to successfully achieve the targets.

o Sales Channels
o Legal issues
o Store locations
o Customer analysis
- Contribute to in-depth understanding of competitive landscape, direct and indirect competitors and continuously keep oversight of substantial shifts in new and coming markets
- Gather and report proactively market feedback (from external agencies, databases and own research) and translate this into quantitative and qualitative short-term and mid-term trends, relevant for the assigned business/department
WHO YOU ARE
- Degree in marketing / business/ economics /engineering or comparable
- Minimum 2 years of working experience from a consulting / research firm / investment banking
- Excellent project management skills
- Managing your priorities while working with many tasks and multiple stakeholders in different departments and designated areas within your region.
- Strong self-leadership as well as strategic thinking and a creative mind
- Great analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal is a must, other language is a plus
- Ability to travel when needed
