Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Head of Business Development & Strategy Officer to develop broker strategies.
  • Develop and maintain sound relationships with brokers by acting as a key contact point and providing efficient and high quality service.
  • Actively seek and develop new business opportunities through brokers, by expanding existing broker relationships or developing new relationships with brokers; and to occasionally work directly with clients.
  • Achieve individual and team sales target.
  • Provide effective solutions to brokers and clients with product information and handling sales enquiries for products including but not limited to healthcare, critical illness and ILAS products.
  • Be a liaison among the team, internal and external stakeholders and to the brokers.
  • Identify improvements to prevent issues from recurring.
  • Assist on any ad-hoc business projects.

 Requirements:

  • Min. 5 years’ related working experience in banking or insurance field. Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager position.
  • IIQE Paper 1,2,3 required.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage priorities in meeting tight deadlines.
  • Detailed oriented, organized and able to work independent.
  • Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Innovative and sound problem-solving skill to respond to brokers and clients.
