Job Description

Our client is a conglomerate with an education arm focusing on kindergarten with a strong growth in Greater China. They are now looking for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to manage the entire group. You will be managing a team of professionals and kindergarten principals, responsible for the group mid and long term strategic growth plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the group chairman and education committee
  • Responsible for driving the education principals and continuous improvement on existing kindergartens
  • Lead the senior management team to achieve the commercial goals, mainly to grow the groups footprint across Greater China
  • Manage over 20+ kindergartens across Greater China and continue to grow into second tier cities in China
  • Participate in school reform initiatives that combine both business and education management strategies
  • Lead a team to compile data from a variety of sources and evaluate school programs for the purpose of improvement
  • Work closely with the finance team for potential M&A actives across APAC
  • Coordinate operations of the entire group for the purpose of ensuring objectives are achieved and resources are effectively utilized
  • Oversight the entire group operations, maintain services and implement new programs for the purpose of providing services within timeframes and in compliance with related requirements
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, seminars (e.g. personnel actions, financial procedures, regulatory requirements etc)
  • Monitor budget allocations, expenditures and related financial activities and to ensure that allocation are accurate, revenues are recorded and expenses are within budget limits
  • Participate in workshops and seminars for the purpose of gathering information required to perform school functions
  • Establish and drive the group's 5 years strategic plan

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in the education industry
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in an executive position within the education sector
  • Experience in managing a sizable commercial team and experience in M&A is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytic skills
  • Excellent communications in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent business leader and experience in a regional role
