Job Description

April International is dedicated to ensuring access to international care through the provision of international health insurance, travel and medical assistance. We are part of  the April Group, a Paris listed, A+ AM best rated insurance specialist with 3,800 staff in 30+ countries. 

To sustain the growth of the company as well as the expansion of our services we are currently looking for a Claims Administrator 

Responsibilities:

  •  Review, analyze and take decision on complex hospital submissions
  • Act as a single point of contact for our clients, brokers and hospitals
  • Train and coach team workers in reviewing and assessing submissions
  • Assist the Chief Operating Officer on special projects

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in nursing/health administration or other relevant discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in claims management or another experience in Insurance
  • Good medical care background acquired through experience or exposure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong customer focus as the candidate will need to remain calm and pragmatic in stressful situations
  • Great attention for details as decisions will be made after thorough analysis of policies and requests 
  • Working proficiency in oral and  written English, Mandarin is a plus
  • Hold SCI degree ( BCP, PGI and HI) or willing to quickly pass the exams

 

Work location : Central, Hong Kong

Working day : Monday to Friday
