Job Description

Our client is a prestige financial firm with a great reputation in the US, they are looking for a Client Application Support specializing the in the ITIL area for their regional technical support. Great exposure in a professional technology environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the client-facing and coordination point to handle first-level support and escalation.
  • Work with the rest of the support team to coordinate on resolving the incidents and problems.
  • Work directly with clients to build a trusted relationship and provide timely support.
  • Work with the client onsite to assist the issue resolution and understand their business needs.
  • Manage the Incident management process to ensure timely escalation and communications.
  • Work with the production support team in root cause analysis and document the right solutions. 
  • Work with the clients on implementation support and deployment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in application support / technical support across the financial trading space in a production environment.
  • A strong analytical and proactive mindset in problem-solving, especially when it is time-sensitive and under pressure.
  • Independent and mature; Ability to work in a regional team.
  • Great stakeholders management and client-facing skills.
  • Proficient in the following technical skills: Unix/Linux, SQL, Shell, FIX, Python, Perl, etc would be highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication in English AND Mandarin with great interpersonal skills. 
  • Flexible with occasional regional travel.
