Job Description

Our future success depends on the diverse talent and performance of dedicated employees. We now call for applications to fill this position which is under the Competitions Department in the organization structure of HKFA. Reporting to the Competitions Manager, the appointee will be responsible for the following:

 

Job Description

  • To assist the Competitions Manager in coordinating the international competitions held in Hong Kong.
  • To organize international competitions at all levels for men and women.
  • To co-ordinate with overseas teams and match officials the logistic arrangements of international competitions.
  • To arrange the visa for all the visiting teams and match officials.
  • To handle all the correspondence of overseas competitions.
  • To coordinate between the clubs and the venue for the club activities and promotion during the local and international competitions.
  • To manage all the A-Board set up on behalf of clubs at the venue.
  • To assist the media and TV broadcasting at the venue during the local competitions.
  • To executive the equipment registration of all clubs.
  • To perform such other duties and responsibilities as reasonably instructed by the Head of Competitions from time to time.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Post- secondaryor AFC / FIFA Qualification on competitions management.
  • Preferably to have at least 3 years of relevant experience.  Working in NSAs and sports related company is a merit.
  • Well-organized, independent, detail-oriented and pro-active.
  • Willing to work overtime, in irregular hours, under pressure and meet tight deadline.
  • Good command in English and Cantonese.
  • Familiar with MS-Office application and Chinese input.

 

The successful candidate will be offered on a contract term employment. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Our employee benefits include Group Medical and Life Insurance to the right candidate

Brand new state-of-the-art The Jockey Club HKFA Football Training Centre (FTC) is now commenced to operate. With 6 pitches, futsal pitch, five-a-side court and other supporting facilities, the FTC will be fundamental to the delivery of the HKFA’s Strategic Plan by providing additional pitches at all levels and particularly for the training and development of elite football players.
