Job Description

Responsibilities

  • To assist Head of Administration to formulate, initiate and plan for large-scale renovation projects by acting as the Project Manager of the large-scale renovation projects of Headquarters, BGCA Bradbury Camp and of the modernization works at other service units
  • To carry out green building performance analysis and lead project delivery in green building assessment and certification
  • To provide technical advice and work with Manager-Administration on the maintenance and other renovation projects of Headquarters
  • To perform key role in the oversight of renovation projects including reviewing specifications, evaluation of contractors and monitoring of work progress and quality
  • To plan and coordinate in grant applications for renovation
  • To act as the site representative to coordinate and perform site supervisions
  • To monitor the work progress and quality
  • To ensure compliance with contractual, health, site safety and other statutory requirements and standards
  • To perform ad hoc duties as assigned

                     

 Requirements:

  • Degree or above in Civil/Structural Engineering, Built Environment, Building Surveying, Building Services, Building Studies, Facilities Management, Architecture or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in large-scale building renovation projects from coordination to execution
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in sustainability project
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in managerial / supervisory level
  • Knowledge of BEAM / BEAM Plus to comply with Green Building Certification Schemes requirements; BEAM Pro / BEAM Affiliate will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the building works, building services installations, Building Regulations and related statutory requirements
  • Ability to communicate and work with different stakeholders, committees and Senior Management
  • High level of personal integrity, confidentiality, discretion, objectivity and independence
  • Strong analytical mind with problem solving skills and sound judgement
  • Fluency in spoken and written Chinese and English; Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Fixed term contract; renewal subject to performance and operational needs
