Job Description

Our client is a multinational insurance firm with massive footprints globally.  The company is urgently seeking a Corporate Governance Manager / Senior Manager (based on experience) to join their team.  The position will start off as a 6 months contract with a view to extend or turn into a permanent position.  

As an Corporate Governance Manager / Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the following:-  

  • Risk and Compliance policy standards review and advisory
  • Creating and implementing work processes that follow organizational standards, performing risk audits, and ensuring new organizational policies align with applicable regulations
  • Collaborate with different lines of businesses and functions to utilize data collection strategies to enhance business operations
  • Oversee control processes and procedures to determine its effectiveness to adhere to the 3 lines of defense model

  To be considered as an Corporate Governance Manager / Senior Manager, you possess the following:-  

  • University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Law or other relevant disciplines
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the risk/legal and governance domain (or related areas) in the financial services sector
  • Experienced with key controls assessments, monitoring and testing
  • High degree of proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Immediately available is an added advantage
