Job Description

3-4 Years Banking experience (eg. Corporate Relationship Manager / Corporate Credit)


Responsibilities:

  • To be a team member of Overseas Branch Operations & Development Department 
  • To assess, review and recommend credit proposals, loan reviews and status reports submitted by overseas branches and arrange approval based on the respective lending authorities 
  • To review the credit policies of overseas branches periodically and suggest appropriate amendments when necessary 
  • To assist Division and Department Heads to monitor the quality of loan portfolio of overseas branches 
  • To review the credit risk related management reports of overseas branches and propose appropriate actions / measures whenever necessary 
  • To supervise the teams of Credit Manager and Assistant Credit Manager in daily operations 
  • To co-ordinate between overseas branches and Risk Management Division of Head Office on credit risk related issues 
  • To take up ad hoc assignments when required

 

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline 
  • AHKIB or equivalent professional qualifications is an advantage 
  • Minimum of 3 years' banking experience in Corporate Relationship Manager or Credit area 
  • Sound knowledge of banking operations, particularly in risk management and credit control 
  • Good understanding of policies, procedures, practices and rules etc. at branch in the banking industry 
  • Strong leadership, analytical and decision-making skills 
  • A team player with good communication and management skills with positive working attitude 
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
