Data Coordinator (at the grade of Research Assistant I/II) in Clinical Trials Centre (Ref.: 493886) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelors’ degree in Health, Life/Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline. Basic knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology would be an added advantage. Experience in the management of clinical data, or experience as Study Coordinator or Clinical Research Associate would be beneficial. Applicants should have proficiency in MS Office, good communication and interpersonal skills, and a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (preferably including Mandarin). They should also be detail-minded, self-motivated and able to work as a good team player with a positive service attitude. The appointee will handle all aspects of data management activities, including but not limited to data management plan writing; electronic Case Report Forms design, database set-up, specifications for data validation, clinical data management documentation, and study site training. He/She will also coordinate closely with the project team to ensure data quality and integrity, including data review, reconciliation, and query management; and perform validation and quality checks for applications and study databases in relation to data quality assurance.
