About the Job

Partner with cross-functional teams to produce accurate demand forecast, manage product supplies to Asian markets according to revenue/ inventory targets, product launch plans, product mix & lifecycle.

Provide regular/ ad-hoc analytics/ reports and lead dialogues with key counterparts to balance demand/ supply, identify root causes and develop action plans to achieve business goals by improving forecast accuracy, supply fulfillment, inventory turns.

 

Principal Job Responsibilities:

  • Create demand forecast / operational forecast for Asia-Pacific at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons, track assumptions and rationale and performance analysis to identify forecast changes and gap.
  • Analyzing historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, evaluate seasonality and trends, maintain product portfolio in multiple Planning & OM tools. (Logility, TXT, AX)
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated forecast assumption.
  • Interact with Merchandising team, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain to ensure forecast meet the brand footprint according to new product launch, product life cycle, product mix…etc.
  • Facilitate monthly demand/supply review meeting with key counterparts to update market information, review demand/ supply situation as well as reaching consensus on action plans.
  • Provide analytical support highlighting changes of demand plan, forecast accuracy, identify root cause as well as developing action plan to mitigate risks.
  • Support regular reporting for business reviews/ meetings.
  • Work closely on business initiatives and to meet the region and corporate organizational goals.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree preferably in Statistical Management, Supply Chain or other related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in demand planning will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and able to work independently.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-organized, attention to details, dedicated, energetic and being a self-starter.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Excel, Access, VBA and other MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge on ERP system & planning application, e.g. AX, Logility, TXT would be an advantage.
