Job Description

Digital is transforming everything and there is significant opportunities to seize. We are actively looking for a digital disrupter to join a global Luxury group of a series of renowned Maisons in Fashion, Leather Goods, Jewelry & Watches.

The Digital & E-Commerce Manager is at the forefront to help the organisation to build the E-Commerce roadmap based on the specifics of Asia Pacific and step up its digital and e-commerce presence.

Based in Hong Kong, the Digital & E-Commerce Manager will report to the Director of Digital & Innovation, and work closely with key stakeholders of the Group and Maisons.


  • To manage the design, delivery and on-going operations of the company's brands Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce capability
  • Contribute to the development of e-commerce strategy, design, development, testing, and supporting the implementation
  • Lead day-to-day eCommerce operation to ensure that all partners, IT, logistics and customer care processes & systems are timely, relevant, improved, reviewed and monitored
  • eCommerce Platform Design and Management - working with internal stakeholders to plan & design a competitive eCommerce platform in line with Regional/Global requirements
  • Work with brands to drive online brand building and promotional activities - working with marketing teams to plan & design activities to drive branding and online sale
  • Performance monitoring, including analytics & reporting of eCommerce
  • Liaise and coach online sales associates including eCommerce partners to maximise online output;
  • Generate and implement new activities, improvements & initiatives to increase e-commerce sales and profitability
  • Demonstrate strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate high impact initiatives
  • Ensure a best-in-class customer experience working with the regional digital marketing on strategic planning and implementation of digital platforms, site architecture, user journeys, content and CRM
  • Work closely with local country teams on product ranging, pricing and promotion activities
  • Lead UAT of new projects, features & functionalities
  • Manage technical partners on infrastructure management, site analysis, system analysis and user experience optimisation


  • Minimum 6 years of experience in digital marketing & eCommerce for consumer facing brands/websites, preferable in luxury and premium brands
  • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience of sizable eCommerce business and operations in a global, matrix environment
  • Must excel in liaison with cross-functional teams (Group and Brands, regional and local, including but not limited to operation and logistics, marketing, tax, legal and finance), agencies, and other external partners (local payment gateways etc.).
  • Strong understanding of business process (customer information management, order processing, inventory management, product personalisation, and customer support etc.).
  • Solid understanding of consumer behaviour in Asia Pacific, local digital landscape, and current emerging marketing and media technologies and social trends that can drive and support eCommerce and digital marketing efforts
  • Outstanding operational experience, project management, presentation, and leadership skills a must
  • Excellent communication and exceptional interpersonal skills - effective, persuasive, and sensitive to multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment
  • Must possess the ability to work in a dynamic, service oriented environment - a dedicated team player engendering a positive "can do" attitude in others (be a lateral leader) with a strong sense of ownership
  • Autonomous, organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to effectively make hard decisions and challenge the status quo
  • University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Strong analytical mind with excellent relationship management
  • Digital experience required (such as Digital Transformation, eCommerce, Digital Marketing, O2O Digital Channels, and more)
  • Knowledge and experience on Google Analytics is definitely an advantage
  • Understanding of design thinking and agile methodology
  • Experienced in digital business analysis and/or system analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse group of stakeholders
  • Fluent in verbal and written English, conversational skills in any other Asian language is a plus
