Job Description

JOB SCOPE

As part of a strategic Health Solutions (HS) regional initiative, the role of Digital Marketing Manager is to work with HS Hong Kong and HS Asia management to coordinate the development and execution of new B2B2C marketing capability to support the digital distribution of insurance solutions to employees of HS’s clients in Hong Kong.

This includes: (1.) Development of Hong Kong Voluntary Benefits marketing strategy including implementation of digital marketing and distribution capabilities, (2.) Design & execution of targeted, digital marketing campaigns to consumers in a B2B2C environment, (3.) Implementation of a range of marketing related testing programmes to optimise customer experience and support sales & conversion, and (4.) Monitoring, management & reporting of campaign performance and results.

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Lead and support the development and execution of a HS Voluntary Benefits marketing strategy for Hong Kong in line with regional objectives; to develop an end-to-end B2B2C digital Voluntary Benefits and marketing capability
  • Apply relevant consumer insights and knowledge of emerging technology trends into the development of Aon’s Voluntary Benefits proposition as well as challenge market norms
  • Integrate into the development of a HS regional Voluntary Benefits marketing strategy, provide a relevant digital marketing plan and campaign calendar for Hong Kong to: 
    • deliver appropriate solutions that enables digital marketing to large groups of consumers through various digital media and platforms;
    • run analytics across data to identify segment and target campaign opportunities;
    • provide innovative ways of engaging consumers in understanding insurance risks and insurance needs; and 
    • uses digital means to provide the most efficient form of distribution. 
  • Devise content design and manage all digital marketing campaigns for all online Voluntary Benefits products in Hong Kong. 
  • Develop, coordinate and evaluate the implementation behavioural economics trials and A/B testing protocols and procedures for related digital marketing campaign activity in Hong Kong.
  • Monitor and manage all digital marketing campaigns and customer response to optimise sales effectiveness and conversation rates.
  • Ensure all voluntary benefits marketing activity implemented are compliant with all relevant Hong Kong laws, license requirements and Aon policies.

 

 PERFORMANCE MEASURES 

  • Ensure a comprehensive voluntary benefits marketing plan is in place for Hong Kong which is aligned to Aon’s regional plan.
  • Ensure our voluntary benefits campaigns are designed and executed to deliver Aon’s targeted sales & conversion and achieve desired ROI.
  • Ensure that the voluntary benefits marketing plan and related campaigns in Hong Kong is regularly reviewed and stays relevant through ongoing innovation.

 

QUALIFICIATIONS

Education & Certification:

  • University degree, preferably in a marketing or business related discipline
  • Exposure to the Hong Kong ‘insuretech’ landscape and digital marketing best practices. 
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns of financial services products to consumers leveraging technology.

Experience:

  • Minimum three years’ experience in developing strategic marketing and / or digital marketing initiatives, including but not limited to e-commerce, email marketing and social media. 
  • Exposure to the Hong Kong ‘insuretech’ landscape and digital marketing best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns of financial services products to consumers leveraging technology.

  • Proven track record in monitoring and managing digital marketing campaign(s).

 Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge & experience in digital marketing strategy development and management.
  • Strategic thinking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills across all levels of management.
  • The ability to develop and execute consumer focused marketing plans in a B2B2C environment.

    Insightful and analytical to correctly foresee near/long term marketing and customer engagement issues
  • Understanding of key commercial drivers.
