Job Description

We are seeking an influential finance leader with strong knowledge of internal control concepts, accounting principles and procedures to lead us through a major project upgrade and support on-going operations. Based in The Peak office, you will be a senior execute formulating financial, procurement and information technology strategies and lead the team to success.

Key accountabilities

  • Oversee the accounting, procurement and information technology function, execute and ensure effective day to day financial management and provide relevant, accurate and timely reports and information when required
  • Control of operations including but not limited to budgeting, costing, complying regulations and Group requirement
  • Formulate a strategic financial plan and lead the team to develop suitable and reliable forecasts of expected financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with all terms and conditions of the management agreement and associated legal documents
  • Detect and prevent irregularities to ensure financial integrity in all processes and documents
  • Lead the procurement function by reviewing all purchase requisitions and approve all purchases in view of availability of funds, necessity and the budget
  • Lead the IT function by reviewing all hardware and software and provide recommendations to management for new technologies
  • To be an adviser on financial issues and, where necessary and appropriate, to challenge the Executive Committee and General Manager regarding the way business is conducted
General Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Accounting or equivalent, CPA Qualified with project finance experience
  • Minimum 8 years management experience in fast changing industry
  • Positive and approachable, analytical, influential with strong conflict resolution, communication and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated, independent and well-organised
  • Working experience with all Microsoft applications and relevant accounting systems like SUN, SAP
