Director of Human Resources - The Murray, Hong Kong, a Niccolo Hotel

We are currently seeking a Director of Human Resources at The Murray, Hong Kong.

Acting as the talent advisor for The Murray, the successful incumbent would take full responsibility in all spectrum of the human resources function of the hotel, covering strategic planning, quality assurance, manpower control, quality and pro-active recruitment, competitive compensation and benefits, training and development, career and succession planning and Colleague communication. Partnering with Human Resources Team at Corporate Office, the HR leader will leverage our values and brand insights to ensure effective talent resource management at the Hotel.

The candidate will be responsible including but not limited to:

  • Monitor and guide the review process on manpower based on departments’ recommendations, internal process and projected business performance.
  • Oversee recruitment progress and procedures to ensure vacancies are filled with enthusiastic candidates that possess the brand proficiency, quality and customer mind-set and right attitude.
  • Ensure a holistic view on Colleague Engagement to ensure all communication channels are open and transparent, feedback is recorded with action plan to follow with all department heads.
  • Together with department heads to identify training and development needs of Colleagues to meet the Colleagues and hotels’ short and long term business goals and objectives.
  • Develop, modify and implement Hotel Human Resources Policies and Procedures to meet with business and operational needs.

 Your Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management or Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in talent acquisition / recruitment
  • Experience in hospitality industry is an advantage
  • Strong project management skills and results oriented
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is an advantage)
