Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Principle leader responsible for all activities related to policy production, claims management and customer services for the Retail Life, Employee Benefits and Individual Health Business to provide seamless customer services
  • Partner with internal function including Sales and Distribution, Finance, Actuarial, IT and HR to ensure that the operations teams can deliver and support the strategic objectives of Hong Kong operation.
  • Ensure strategic objectives are met, communicate with business partners in Sales, Finance, Technology and Product, ensure all operations and systems are aligned with business needs and support business growth.
  • Plan and delivery of the strategy to deliver operational excellence and customer centric services.
  • Responsible for driving change and serving as the business owner for technology and services initiatives ensuring initiatives are executed on time and on budget.
  • Develop and communicate key performance indicators to enable senior management to monitor progress in all key operation aspects of Retail Life Insurance, Employee Benefit, Individual Health and Non-Life insurance.
  • Evaluate relevant industry trends, regulatory concerns and competitive environment and work with business partners to implement changes to policies, procedures and processes as necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree holder
  • Extensive operations experience in life, general insurance and health insurance business.
  • Track record of leading process re-engineering and change management, with the ability to seek out improvements to existing processes, consistent with industry best practice.
  • Industry knowledge, with particular strengths in insurance operations, system and organization.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer relationship management skills
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Well developed strategic, business and decision making skills
  • Customer-Driven, People-Centric and Team-Focused.
  • Team Player who actively represents the needs of the company
