Description

Our client is the world leadership in alternative investment education. They are urgently looking for an Events & Marketing Manager to join their company for 3 months contract assignment. Candidates with outstanding performance might have chance to convert to permanent staff.


Responsibilities

Events & Marketing Responsibilities

  • Coordinate conference engagement, marketing initiatives, media exchanges and other internal marketing and program events
  • Handle logistical planning of events with vendors from inception through to completion
  • Coordinate marketing collateral and gift premiums including managing budget item, purchasing requests and obtaining necessary approvals as required
  • Manage the Asia Pacific conference and events calendar, events tracking report and accompanying media exchange analytics
  • Run reports and prepare data / analysis as needed

Social Media

  • Coordinate with the Asia Pacific Team to assemble regional social media input to utilize and publish
  • Responsible for hands on social media postings

Administrative & General Support

  • Provide assistance with ad-hoc administrative tasks and communications as needed
  • Answers telephones directing callers to appropriate associate and greeting and directing visitors when necessary


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree holder with previous experience working in events management desired (direct conference experience a plus)
  • Maintains a high attention to detail, well organized, resourceful, strong initiative and ability to multi-task
  • Strong affinity for developing quality control processes
  • Strong communications skills in native English and good command of Mandarin
  • Thrives in a team environment
  • Tech-savvy, especially with Microsoft Office, Internet, Social Media (optional, design programs)
  • Immediately available is highly preferable
