Job Description


  • To assist in identifying suitable exhibits, photographs and videos among the others for the Museum's new permanent exhibition
  • To maintain a proper database for the new exhibition planning process, including but not limited to the retrieval, photography and measurement-taking of exhibits and visual materials
  • To assist in the documentary production for use at the new permanent exhibition
  • To provide logistical support to the Museum in meeting with exhibition collaborators, as well as potential lenders or donors of exhibits
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor


  • Bachelor degree holder major in History or related discipline such as Cultural studies, Museum studies, China Studies etc.
  • Level 2 or above in Chinese Language AND English Language in HKDSE or equivalent
  • 3 years' full-time working experience in exhibition and research field, among which 2 years are with local museum or local cultural institution specializing in exhibitions or cultural events
  • Good command of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Chinese typing
