Showroom assistant is an entry-level administrative position for those with an interest in the fashion industry. Working closely with account assistant, account coordinators and account managers; the showroom assistant’s key responsibilities are to ensure smooth execution of daily sample and product delivery and provide administrative support to the account servicing team.
The ideal candidate will have a diploma in public relations or communications (although other educational background will also be considered). The candidate should have strong communication, research and organization skills, be willing to adjust to a variety of client temperaments and personalities and be willing to go above and beyond the call of duty in order to complete a project accurately and on time. The showroom assistant should have a can-do attitude and be a team player. More experienced candidates could also be considered as Showroom Coordinator.
