Job Description

A position of finance/operation manager is open in HK office. Regional offices are located in HK, Singapore, Taiwan and Suzhou/Shenzhen China.


You will work in our Hong Kong office with the Director of Finance leading the finance function for all regional offices across Asia Pacific and working with internal cells.


You will work with the Director of Finance as a thought partner while assuming full responsibilities as a finance leader for all regional offices across Asia Pacific.

In this role you will work with both hands-on planning and strategic overview of the regional office operations. You will work with leadership to structure and implement creative solutions to bring normative approaches to operational support. You will play a role in leading efforts to push performance management into an integrated model.


To be qualified for this position, you must be a qualified accountant in CPA or equivalent. You will also possess over 5 years of relevant working experience. It is critical for this person to also have sound knowledge in team and stakeholder management. You are also required to be have strong communication skills; fluency in English (written and verbal).

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • CPA or equivalent
  • Degree Holder is preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience (costing, process improvement, FP&A, etc.) in an MNC environment
  • Have experience of final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination for either a division or significant program area, and has preferably overseen a human resources function previously
  • Strong finance skills; Ability to own and execute finance related activities with speed, accuracy, and efficiency; and an unwavering commitment to quality.
  • Energetic, hands-on with strong desire to drive changes
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated capacity and prior experience in supervising others as a coach/mentor to train staff and develop financial skills of colleagues
  • An open, collaborative professional with enthusiasm to work in team environments
  • Excellent communications skills in English and Chinese (written and verbal)

Job Descriptions

Liaise with external parties for the Group

  • Liaise with Auditors, Co. Sec & negotiate with Bankers
  • Review statutory audit report and tax filing
  • Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
  • Review / draft Commercial Agreement
  • Evaluation / Implementation of computer system
  • Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties including customers and advisors.

Overall review on daily operation for the Group

  • Independently lead and manage the Finance and Operation team for the Group
  • Design and implement Company Policies for the Group
  • Perform internal audit of regional offices and advice on control, compliance & business process improvements
  • Set up regional offices including Capital injection
  • Review accounting works of regional offices (Singapore, Taiwan,Shenzhen, Suzhou)
  • Review on VAT filing in PRC / TW
  • Review on Profit tax filing in PRC / TW offices
  • AR, AP & Inventory Management for the Group

Handle daily accounting operation & month ended closing for Hong Kong office

  • Fully accountable for overall accounting service including financial accounting, consolidation, treasury, inventory, payroll for HK office
  • Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting
  • Overall review daily operation
