Responsibilities

• Manage the local Finance team on day to day running of finance activities to support the business operations in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
• Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure efficient use of funds and update management on adequacy for working capital.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including statutory audit, taxes and business licenses.
• Ensure compliance of business operations, internal controls and group reporting to Group policies and procedures.
• Ensure business processes are effective and efficient by practicing good business controls, process improvements and projects.
• Provide valuable insights to the stakeholders (country manager, regional office etc.) and recommend actions on improving performance.
• Drive country’s budgeting and forecast processes
• Oversee office facilities management, including all-rounded administration duties to ensure smooth office operation.
• Co-ordinate office lease renewal and relocation project
• Undertake special projects as required

 

Requirement

• Minimum a degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• At least 10 years of relevant experiences in accounting / audit field
• Experience in using Microsoft GP or other ERP and familiar with MS Office would be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships within a dynamic team environment
• Ability to lead, develop & motivate a team of professional accounting staff
• Commercial acumen, proactive, resourceful & results driven with good organizational skill to meet reporting deadline
