Job Description:

Financial Management

  • Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual operating budget, marketing & sales plan and capital budget
  • Delivers value through strong financial management that drives revenue, profitability and market share.
  • Maximise room yield and hotel revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programmes;
  • Manage ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded;
  • A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.

 Guest Experience

  • Ensure all customers' complaints or opinions are handled properly according to clear guidelines, procedures and feedback mechanism;
  • Ensure positive, personalized guest experiences. Utilize guest/customer feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Serve as a brand and service culture advocate and ensure that the intent of the brand is reflected in the guest experience; communicate a clear and consistent message regarding the hotel.
  • Deliver positive guest engagement (Guest Voice) results.

 Operation Management

  • Ensures the smooth running of operations, including guest engagement, associate engagement and financial performance.
  • Oversee different departments to review operating reports and resolve operational problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and to meet future growth.
  • Lead in all aspects of business operations; provide effective leadership to hotel team members to deliver an excellent guest experience, profitability and guest satisfaction measures;
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations;
  • Builds strong relationships with stakeholders, including local officials, businesses, guests and business partners; represents hotel in all leadership actions;
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards;
  • Provide SOP to guide team members. Coach and develop senior team members, and groom talents to next level.

Project Management

  • Be responsible for the overall pro-opening management, setting up for the senior management team;
  • Act as a Project Manager in relation to the renovation/ improvement projects.  Attend project progress meetings, and ensure timely completion of projects within the approved budget;
  • Maintain the up-keeping of the property and buildings of the hotel and execution of approved projects;



  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related discipline;
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in hospitality industries with minimum 5 years’ experience on supervisory level;
  • Previous experience in opening and operating a hotel/hostel of medium tariff or in setting up a premises of similar nature and scale is definitely an advantage.;
  • Enthusiastic and committed to delivering high quality work in a collaborative environment through good communications and teamwork;
  • Able to handle multi-tasks, work under pressure, and deal with tight multi-projects deadlines;
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking in planning;
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in both oral and written English, Chinese and Mandarin;
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
