Job Description

  • Leads the Deputy General Managers (Cabin Crew and In-flight Product & Operations) who jointly oversee Cabin Crew performance & Operations, Cabin Crew Relations, Cabin Crew Recruitment, Cabin Crew Standards, Cabin Crew Service Training, Ancillary Revenue, Catering & IFE
  • Develops and drives the In-Flight Services strategy and supports DMs and function heads in the daily operation to ensure HKA delivers the best onboard experience to its customers
  • Prioritises the engagement, training and development of the In-flight Services team including the frontline team of cabin crew
  • Drives Ancillary Revenue performance and provides direction and support to ensure all annual targets are met and further revenue generating opportunities are identified and evaluated
  • Reviews, plans and proposes manpower & resources requirements to senior management in line with business growth & development
  • Liaises with internal and external parties to manage the onboard customer experience and supports team in managing performance of external suppliers and business partners
  • Compiles annual budget for In-flight Services Department and supports team in managing budget througout the year
  • Identifies and develops plans to deliver cost savings and efficiencies that do not affect the overall quality of the customer offering
  • Ensures the documentation & implementation requirements of IOSA related to In-flight Services are fully met


Job Requirement

  • Good level of education with professional qualifications in leadership and operational management desirable
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience at managerial level within hospitality, customer experience and/or airline industry
  • Proven track record in effective leadership of large teams
  • Strong customer focus and demonstrable ability to meet business requirements at strategic and operational levels
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships by facilitating and influencing decision making at senior executive levels
  • Strong coordination, communication and time management skills are essential
  • Ability to drive change in large and complex organisations to effect substantial efficiency and effectiveness
  • Good command of spoken and written English. Proficiency in Chinese will be an advantage
