Job Description

Purpose Statement:
Support the development and execution of all 1-2-1 consumer engagement programs (permanent and temporary) across the top global travel retail locations. Implement the Merchandising action plan as part of the overall brand activation plans, by location & shopper channels.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the MCI Manager with the permanent platform of ~150 Brand Ambassadors across 41 airports in 40 countries
  • Manage the global 121 agency team to ensure delivery of SLA, KPIs and 121 scope OTIF
  • Point of reference for the brand team, trade team and cycle activation executives for development & deployment of all direct engagement activities, including temp promoter activities
  • Support in the planning and preparation for the monthly development and deployment of field cycle instructions
  • Liaise between external suppliers, customers and internal suppliers for projects, to ensure that delivery is achieved in line with expectations
  • On time execution of Permanent Merchandising plan to ensure optimum brand presence, visibility & customer satisfaction
  • Co-ordinate the production and delivery of permanent marketing materials to the field across geographies, according to communication & activation plans
  • Manage suppliers to ensure delivery OTIF, at highest quality with lowest cost
  • Support and develop (Along REX team) new and innovative touchpoint strategies and tools for implementation in the retail environment
  • Subject matter expert for the rest of marketing teams on Planogram & POSM material development, deployment & Evaluation
  • Inventory management of all POSM
  • Drive and monitor the data accuracy of merchandising related information for more robustdecision making

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Experience in Trade Marketing or related field, ideally within FMCG
  • Strong project management skills and communication skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, both locally and remotely located, across geographies and time zones
  • Marketing or Business-related degree is desirable
  • Previous experience of working in Marketing related field (Brand or Trade)
  • Good understanding of Trade Marketing & Distribution field and office operation
  • Brand marketing knowledge is a plus
  • University degree in Business or Marketing
  • Previous POSM & Merchandising experience is advantageous
  • Solid understanding of retail environment
  • Ability to manage multiple activities
  • Pro-active, creative and dynamic
