Job Description

Our client is looking for a Global Helpdesk Support Engineer who has good knowledge in Linux and VMware technologies. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a challenging career in the financial service industry.


  • Providing first line support to users for night desk trading
  • Provide support to key applications
  • Take ownership of help desk case resolution
  • Escalate help desk cases when needed
  • Regular health check and system resource monitoring
  • Day-to-day support and troubleshooting of core software systems and application packages


  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows desktop environments
  • Strong knowledge in desktop, system hardware support and windows operation system
  • 3+ years of user support and server administration experience
  • Experience in proprietary trading or hedge fund firm is preferred
  • Good knowledge in Linux platforms an virtualization software
  • Holder of MSCE, LPIC 1 / 2 certification would be an advantage
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
