Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. MANAGE THE BUSINESS CREATIVE AND PRODUCTION ALLOCATIONS: Portfolio planning and prioritization with GM BU leaders and finance based on available studio hours to be reviewed annually when the financial results are out.
  2. STRATEGIC PORTFOLIO PRIORITIZATION PLANNING: Understand Schneider Electric’s strategic business priorities. Support the businesses and shared services to build quarterly creative portfolio plans for all creative and production priorities.
  3. RESOURCE CAPACITY AND FORWARD PLANNING TO PROVIDE VISIBILITY FOR CREATIVE AND PRODUCTION: Align with Global Head of Studio Operations, Creative Leads and Traffic Managers on resource capacity and planning.
  4. ANALYSIS AND REGULAR REPORTING TO MANAGE USAGE, BURN AND EVOLVING PRIORITIES: Working with BU’s, Creative, Ops Lead, Traffic, Campaign, Shared Services to regularly report on usage and burn whilst managing ever changing priorities.

Portfolio Operations is responsible for the maths and science behind allocations, currently based on percentage of Marcom spend taking revenue into account. This methodology is to be continually reviewed to reflect fair allocation. Portfolio Operations is responsible for both production hours working with Agency Operations on external hours with our Global Production agencies based on the SOW and contract negotiations reflecting the requirements of the businesses, and creative hours.

Working as an integral part of the creative operations team, the Portfolio Prioritization Planner arranges quarterly meetings to discuss the expected pipeline of work with Traffic, Studio Directors, CCMs and effectively manages and prioritizes the portfolio of projects annually and quarterly with the five GM Business Leaders and their teams.

This individual will be responsible for identifying all campaign and BU priorities for the coming quarter, reporting on what can be achieved, and, ensuring the businesses are aware of what is achievable in the pipeline of requested work. They are also responsible for updating the Businesses regularly on how the allocation is being used on a monthly basis, providing real time burn reports. The Portfolio Operations Manager will be a trusted advisor to the Businesses, COE and the Global Head of Studio Operations providing detailed analytical reporting for the quarterly campaign and business council.

This individual will review the mutually agreed on formula of marketing spend and revenue, collaborating with the Businesses and the Global Head of Studio Operations, traffic and studios to build.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an agency setting or in a related industry
  • Strong understanding of all stakeholders’ expectations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the processes including traffic and studio engagement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills
  • Highly organized and self-directed
  • Cross-platform computing skills and Workfront knowledge are preferred
  • Enjoys working with teams, mentoring where appropriate
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
