About the Company
A well-known FMCG company is looking for a Group HR Manager to execute the full spectrum of HR & Change Management functions including but not limited to HR Policies & Procedures, Talent Management, Employee Welfare, Compensation & Benefits, and Business Transformation. This role will be based in Singapore and report to the Regional Head of HR, also based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Talent Management through talent acquisition & retention, performance management, training and succession planning practices
- Assess the organization’s needs based on organizational strategy
- Identify and implement training & development programs to build the competencies & capabilities
- Assist with talent acquisition and manpower planning for regional markets
- Explore & evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment channels to enhance hiring efficiency
- Oversee & look into the enhancement of existing welfare programs & employee engagement activities
- Support C&B processes at a regional level including salary increments and bonus reviews
- Ensure that C&B recommendations are aligned with the market benchmarks and trends
- Ensure that change initiatives introduced to the organization help to further the organizational objectives and fit in completely with its corporate vision and mission
- Create conditions for a smooth transition to changes with minimal resistance from the employees and maximum enthusiasm to adapt to the change
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Business or Business Administration
- 7 to 10 years HR generalist experience, ideally with 4 years’ experience in a managerial capacity
- Strong understanding of change management and business transformation, C&B and talent acquisition process.
- Regional experience in acquisition/ hiring practices is preferred, especially for HK and Malaysia
- Work experience preferably in MNC companies from the Retail or FMCG sectors
- Good knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Experience in Prosoft and HRIS feasibility studies & implementation an advantage
- Ability to demonstrate high level of tact in handling confidential information.
- Strong communication & good interpersonal skills
- Independent, tenacity to work in fast-paced dynamic environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines
