Job Description

The Division

The Customer and International Business Development Division (C&I) is responsible for providing quality wagering experience marketing, and CRM to local and overseas customers of the Hong Kong Jockey Club. The ultimate aim is to provide an impressive total customer experience leading to sustainable turnover growth in a responsible manner.


The Job

You will

  • work at The Racing Club’s dining venues, both Happy Valley Racecourse and Sha Tin Racecourses on racedays and non-racedays
  • process table booking request from members who may call in or book through online
  • maximise seat and table utilisation of the venue, work out daily booking and seating plans and prepare venue utilisation reports
  • work on event logistics, cost control and provide on-site support to ensure successful execution of internal event
  • welcome Members and their guests at The Racing Club venues in a pleasant and warm manner to build up a friendly relationship
  • answer The Racing Club hotline and general enquiries from Members about the services and events
  • written and e-correspondences to answer enquiries is needed and help on other office administration


About You

You should have

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, diploma holder in Hospitality Management or related disciplines is an advantage
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good telephone manner
  • to be customer-centric and attention to details and logistics
  • professional manner on handling confidential information
  • good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • hands-on computer skills in MS Word & Excel
  • to work on night races, non-office working hours and Public Holidays


Terms of employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
