Job Description

We are working retained and exclusively with a Chinese-based reputable and growing pharmaceutical group, listed in Hong Kong to recruit a Head of HR to join their changing organisation in Hong Kong headquarter. Experienced within this sector is essential.

As Head of HR this role will be responsible for managing Hong Kong and China HR team and reporting in to the CEO. You will be responsible for driving the strategic goals of the department to meet the business needs; implementing change and a robust set of HR policies and procedures.

This will be a very strategical HR position, you will analyse how the company is organised. As part of your role you will work on the employee engagement and internal branding piece, creating that culture of shared belonging and success and the feeling of working for a leading company across all departments. You will oversee the overall strategy for HR, Recruitment, Talent Succession, Benefit and Reward as well as the Learning and Development needs, bringing in new initiatives, policies, processes and procedures and driving the projects through to fruition.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Senior HR leadership and strategic advice to the executive teams
  • Develop and implement pragmatic HR solutions which meet the mid to long term needs of the business, covering; Org Change, Engagement, resourcing,
  • Deploy group wider HR initiatives within the businesses e.g. talent, performance, succession, reward etc
  • Lead and further build the capabilities of the China HR team, focussed on ensuring solutions are commercial and delivered at pace against a clear people agenda
  • Ensure compliance and risk management; people matters
  • Support, challenge and coach senior stakeholders
  • Leadership of HR projects

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as Senior HR management within Pharmaceutical/ Medicine/ Health care
  • Ability to build effective relationships across multiple stakeholder group
  • Advise on best practice HR and senior levels
  • In-depth experience in all aspects of employee relations matters
  • Previous experience across the range of HR services e.g. compensation and benefits, policy and procedures, performance management etc
  • Fluent English and Chinese
