Head of Human Resources

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Human Resources strategies, policies and initiatives to build the people and organizational capabilities for supporting the achievement of Group business strategic goals
  • Integrating of people strategies of the different business functions and to drive delivery of business results for preparing company for future expansion and growth
  • Lead HR team to deliver the HR services to meet the changing needs of business through effective liaison, listening and establishment of open dialogue with managers;
  • Provide advice and feedback on the manpower planning, structure design, compensation & benefits, training and career development, succession planning and performance management to maximize the contribution and value added;
  • Partner with executive team members, business unit heads and functional heads on the resolution and management of a wide range of HR issue including staff development and performance improvement;  
  • Formulate talent acquisition strategy and develop strategic sourcing solutions to attract right talents;
  • Formulate the Compensation and Benefits strategy and positioning;
  • Take an active role in the review and development of compensation and benefits programs to meet the changing needs of the business and support strong business growth strategy in Greater China;
  • Work closely with business leaders to ensure sound compensation & benefits strategy and initiatives to support building Convoy as Employer of Choice;
  • Design, evaluate and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive in compliance with legal requirements;
  • Analyze compensation policies, regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plan;
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are in alignment with operation needs and in compliance with local regulations and Group HR blueprint;
  • Continually review all supporting documentation, including employment contracts, policies, letters and forms to ensure they are fit or purpose, use friendly, meet diversity requirements and develop and enhance the public image of the organization;
  • Supervise the team to provide consulting services in the areas of performance management, job benchmarking, incentive & benefits design, policy & system development, recognition and change management;
  • Manage, motivate the HR team including team members in China to build a professional and quality HR team

 

Requirements: 

  • University degree in Human Resources or other related discipline
  • Minimum 15 years relevant experience in a series of progressively more responsible HR positions, including a minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience is required.
  • Wide range and diverse knowledge on human resources management and compensation design
  • Strong driver with passion to build Convoy HR as the Best HR team
  • Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Excellent analytical, strong negotiation, planning and project management skills
