Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Group Head of Human Resources & Administration, you will head up the HR & Admin functions of one of the overseas subsidiaries to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR services through effective management and coordination with the local HR & Admin support team
  • Act as a strategic HR business partner and oversee full spectrum of HR & Admin functions of the overseas subsidiary
  • Develop and implement organization strategies and company policies by identifying and aligning HK & local human resources best practices
  • Manage human resources operation by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff contributions; handling compensation and benefits; determining productivity and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; as well as implementing and spearheading organisation changes
  • Support management by providing strategic human resources advice to facilitate decision making; analyzing market information and local market trends to address human capital needs and business priorities
  • Build and promote organization culture, create a passionate workforce, enhance organisation cohesiveness and staff loyalty, as well as nurture creativity in the workplace
  • Lead and support ad hoc HR projects and initiatives


Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10-12 years' experience in human resources management, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial/leadership capacity, as well as solid experience in managing a sizable team and a workforce of various cultures 
  • Concrete knowlege of retail industry is essential, with prior experience stationing in overseas operations a definite advantage
  • Proactive, with strong business acumen and exposure to all-rounded HR functions
  • Strong awareness of multi-cultural values, customs, and norms; able to work under pressure and handle multi-task, with strong leadership, influencing, negotiation and communication skills
  • High proficiency in both written and spoken English & Chinese; fluency in Mandarin 
  • Immediate available an advantage
