The Head of Marketing and Content will be the leader of a team responsible for telling the world the story and benefits of our brand and products.

Crafting clever and effective product positioning for all Native Union’s offerings using a mix of rational and emotional reasons to buy, you will turn prospective customers into life-long ambassadors. Not only will you own the go-to-market strategy from ideation to product launch, you will also shape, influence, and execute an engaging creative strategy around digital content, delivering personalized customer engagement that continuously nurtures our relationship with our community.

As the Head of Marketing and Content, you will be the brand and product champion across all touchpoints of Native Union. Assuming a consumer centric approach, the Head of Marketing & Content will translate Native Union’s design philosophy and key product benefits into clear and concise user benefits across all communication channels.

As a leader, you are motivating, thoughtful, and possess experience in successfully leading and mentoring teams. In this role, you will oversee a team of up to 8 individuals, driving the strategies and cross-functional goals of the Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Content, and Public & Media Relations teams.

Main responsibilities

  • Establish strategic marketing vision for Native Union, with the goal of maximizing the success of our products, both online and offline
  • Define product vision and go-to-market strategies with a user centric lens
  • Influence product development by earning the trust of product managers and engineering leads to reflect unmet user needs and solve critical pain-points
  • Translate product features into consumer benefits and user needs by using primary and secondary research as well as internal data and competitive intelligence
  • Coordinate, align, and ideate creative assets to generate a 360-degree content strategy across key platforms (catalogues, case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts, social)
  • Ensure consistent marketing messages are communicated at the right time with the right frequency in online and offline environments, aligned with appropriate business stakeholders
  • Create and maintain metric reports on performance marketing (SEO, SEA, SEM) product performance, effectiveness, and business impact for senior management.
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our Brand and products
  • Marketing P&L management and ownership

What you’ll bring to Native Union 

  • 6 to 10 years of marketing and digital marketing experience, preferably with both agency and in-house track record
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, or Marketing
  • Experience with managing growth marketing metrics including SEO, SEA, SEM, display targeting, paid social, funnel optimization
  • Strong affinity for Native Union’s brand DNA
  • Ability to elaborate strategies and implement plans to achieve digital transformation
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to synthesize micro trends
  • Agile with ability to spot emerging digital trends and how they could be relevant for Native Union
  • Knowledgeable about Growth Marketing platforms and processes
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
