North American Based Listed Banking Group offering comprehensive private wealth management, global market and corporate bank services. Recorded net income of USD 680million+ in the 2nd quarter of 2020; hiring over 200 employees in HK Branch and over 45,000 worldwide is in search for Head of Operations (VP) for the HK Branch.

  • In charge of the daily operations of Treasury, Capital Markets, Trade Finance Products and Accounting & Payment processes for the Private Banking/Asset Management, Global Markets and Corporate Banking businesses
  • Manage the MTB office operations team of 10 in Hong Kong
  • Consult business and ensure the fulfilment of regulatory, operational risk and corporate governance for the daily operations
  • Oversight the accounting processes, remittance/deposit transaction, G/L, payment and funding records for the HK Branch
  • Drive digitalization, process improvement and streamline procedures to cater for any new business/product and regulatory changes
  • Assume the project lead work with business, compliance, risk and senior management across the region
  • Work in partnership with regional office and Headquarters on any ad hoc projects related to BCP and SOX audit
  • Well qualified Degree Holder in Accounting or related discipline/10 years operations experience with 3 years people management skill
  • Prior working experience with international Global Markets/Capital Mkts and Private Bank
  • Good understanding of treasury/credit products and loans
  • Sound risk control mindset & understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Strong people management & stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proactive with seasoned communication skill
