Job Description

Job Description 

Reporting to the Principal and Regional HR Director, the candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the HR team of Nord Anglia International School, Hong Kong to ensure the effective operations of the department and provide outstanding business partnering services for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist with projection of the staffing plan 
  • Ensure employee terms and conditions of service are in line with agreed budgets, in line with the company policies, procedures and legal framework.
  • Work closely with all departments across all regions in a consultancy role, assisting the School Principal and Regional Directors to understand and implement policies and procedures.
  • Produce and report on school HR Key Performance Indicators in accordance with Company requirements.
  • Act as both support and counsel to the School Principal and school’s leadership team in all HR related matters.
  • Ensure that all HR issues are given full consideration in all decision making
  • Accountability for the Payroll function, ensuring that all personnel receive the correct salary in a timely manner.
  • Provide continuous support to managers in resolving and progressing cases of absence, disciplinary measures and performance management.
  • Oversee the issue of contracts/letters of appointment, variations and associated documentation and ensure appropriate action is taken in respect of staff changes.
  • Maintain and manage the appropriate employee records (manual and electronic) ensuring they are up‐to‐date and in accordance with Data Protection requirements.
  • Manage full employee cycle from recruitment, onboarding and off‐boarding
  • Manage the onboarding of all teachers and staff including reference checking, teaching registration, visa and work permit issues and CRB checks
  • Advise on pay and other remuneration issues, including
    promotion and benefits.

Job Requirement 

  • University Degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years' HRM experiences
  • Broad knowledge of campus processes and procedures, personnel management of labour contracts and personnel policy
  • Relevant experience of working in Human Resources and administration, including policy and procedure development, performance management
  • Proven ability to organise department work functions in an efficient and effective manner
  • Proven ability to work in team‐working style in complex and international organisation
