Job Description

Summary of the Position

Lead all strategic talent acquisition activities in Hong Kong and China, building strong internal and external talents pipeline to ensure business continuity and succession, manage hiring budget, set up KPI for recruitment agencies and provide best-fit talents to the business on a timely basis.  Acting as HR Business Partner to designated business terms to provide HR advice on resources planning and execution, organizational development, employee relations, performance management as well as change management.

Key advocate of WBA Winning culture and a key member to drive diversity and inclusion in the region.  This role will also take up internal talent management agenda to align with WBA high performing culture.

 

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities include:

Talent Acquisition

  • Responsible for full spectrum of talent acquisition process for Asia, including headcount planning, recruitment strategies, headcount budget, identifying the right channels, job posting, interviewing, offer management and etc.
  • Identify, evaluate and select effective sourcing channels including traditional and social media in order to meet business needs
  • Identification of appropriate hiring strategies and approach for key pipelines including setting up and management of talent pools
  • Play an active role in employer branding projects

   

Talent Development & Management

  • Ensure all employees have own development plan and provide advice when needed
  • Support talent profiling and mapping process leading to business succession plan
  • Support organizational learning and development needs to bridge the skill gaps
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date comprehensive internal and external talent pipelines
  • Undertake ad-hoc global projects or people activities as required

 

Key Position Requirements:

  • University degree with minimum 8 years' relevant experience in talent acquisition or HRBP role with key business units in reputable multinational companies
  • Solid experience and proven track records in talent acquisition, search strategy and market mapping
  • Experience in driving talent development and management activities for all levels of employees including leadership team
  • Great partnership skills with senior stakeholders and the ability to build trusted relationships
  • High delivery focus and strong commercial awareness
  • Resilient, proactive, energetic, flexible, ability to work under pressure
  • Good command of spoken & written in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
