Job Description

Reporting to the Head of HR, North Asia with a functional reporting into the General Manager of Hong Kong, the incumbent will work take ownership to plan and deliver HR project activity associated with business and Human Resources improvement programs. The role will blend both knowledge of HR operations and deployment of best practice processes for people development, internal communications and engagement for a community of 500 staff in Hong Kong.

 

Workforce Planning and Business Partnering

  • Analyze and monitor local labor market and internal organization structure, manpower and cost planning to support current business and new operations opening.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to build and improve organization and people capabilities to increase efficiencies for long term business growth.
  • Conduct salary and benefits benchmarking exercises and surveys to establish and maintain market competitiveness.

Driving Change and Building Culture

  • Review on current organisation structure and process. Drive change management practices and initiatives to achieve efficiency and improvements.
  • Develop and drive different programs to position PPG as an employer of choice.
  • Drive an engaged and open work environment for staff development and retention.
  • Develop new, as well as review and enhance existing policies to ensure compliance.
  • Develop plans for succession and collaborate with L&D for talent development needs and programs.

Requirements

  • A seasoned Human Resources professional who has the passion to drive organization changes and improvement initiatives for our operations in Hong Kong.
  • A business partner who translates business & people priorities into actionable outcomes.
  • Experience in Hotel, F&B or hospitality business environment is a definite advantage.
  • Someone who can communicate, influence and inspire with a can-do attitude.
