Job Description
  • Main responsibility is to assist the hiring manager on annual marketing planning for GBM and CMB. The team starts the planning in Jun 2019 and they will be planning for 2020.

  • Candidate will be the bridge for the global and local team. He/she will push the local team to deliver and will have to circle back to the global team on results.

  • Provide a clear framework and process for planning, both annually and as part of the ongoing analysis of the rolling country marketing plan throughout the year.
  • Provide oversight of the centralised marketing activity budget and maintain a comprehensive view of direct and indirect marketing spend and people costs (planned, actual, projection).
  • Monitor spend and prepare forecasting for Regional Marketing Team people costs, including travel
  • Provide guidance to Marketing team in aspects related to budget management and control disciplines.
  • Provide the Global/Regional Planning team with an aggregated view of all marketing activities and spend on an ongoing basis.


  • Degree level of qualification in marketing and/or business studies preferred
  • Minimum 5 years broad-based marketing experience, ideally within a Financial based institution
  • A range of planning and financial reporting experience, including demonstrable success in understanding, communicating and evolving strategic direction and influencing operational plans and processes
  • Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts
  • Excellent communication and project management skill

Job Offer

  • Work location - Central
  • Contract Type - Renewable Agency Contract (Contract under Michael Page, but we will issue a reference letter to proof that you worked in HSBC.)
  • Annual Leave - 15 days
