On behalf of clients, we are seeking high calibre candidates for the following:  

Position:  Insurance Back Office (Senior Officer/Officer/Assistant Officer/Administrator/Fresh Graduate) - permanent/Contract

Positions offered would be depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidates.   

RESPONSIBILITIES   

To execute any of the following job functions:    

a).  Senior Officer (Claims) 

  • Administer individual life claims according to company philosophy ad guidelines
  • Handle claims related enquiries from policyholders and frontline agents
  • Support departmental reporting
  • Assist on any ad hoc task provided by the management
  • Answering enquiries and providing claims support and services to the agents and customers  

b).  Underwriting Officer/ Assistant Underwriting Officer

  • Providing support in the whole underwriting process,
  • Data capture, cases follow up, operation manuals updating and enquiries handling,
  • Assisting in various projects and assignments. 

c).  Actuarial Assistant (Contract)

  • Assisting for one or more aspects of the actuarial functions including pricing, valuation and asset-liability management.

d).  Underwriting/Claims Temporary Clerk (4 - 5 months) - Fresh Graduates

  • Handling administration support,
  • Data input of life insurance policy
  • Assisting the daily operation work flow of the Underwriting & Claims Department.   

e).  Policy Administration (Anti Money Laundering)  Contract Staff (4 months) 

  • Engaging into compliance related tasks,
  • Performing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high risk customers, AML related documentation,
  • Providing administrative support and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS:    

A.  General Requirements 

  • Degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Finance with professional insurance qualification (e.g. FLMI or CFP). 
  • Able to work under high pressure with professional business acumen
  • Highly adaptable to changes with flexible and positive working attitude
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)     

B.  Experience Requirements 

a).  for Senior Officer (Claims) requires minimum 3 years of relevant working experience 

b). for Underwriting Officer/ Assistant Underwriting Officer require 2 years working experience in life insurance; Candidate with less experience may be considered as Assistant Underwriting Officer

c).  for Actuarial Assistant (Contract) require Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics, 1 year actuarial experience in life insurance industry.  Excellent mastery of Excel & Access. Knowledge of AXIS 

d).  for Underwriting/Claims Temporary Clerk (4 - 5 months) - Fresh Graduates require administrative support experience gained in life insurance industry. Fresh graduates will also be considered

e).  for Policy Administration (Anti Money Laundering)  Contract Staff (4 months) requires 5 years’ experience or above in life insurance, preferably in policy administration. Have AML related knowledge and working experience is preferred.
