Company details

The British Standard is a social enterprise organisation dedicated to teaching English that makes a difference.

The British Standard is a social enterprise organisation that aims to make a difference in society through the use of English in three areas:

• Working with schools and NGOs to teach English in innovative and meaningful ways. Apart from teaching the prescribed curriculum, we also want to expand the knowledge, creativity and critical thinking skills of students so that they are readily equipped to face the post-education society. In our highly competitive society, good grades aren’t enough and personal development is essential to success. We will also provide seminars and workshops for parents so that they know more about their child’s learning.

• Working with communities to help ethnic minorities, low-income families and new immigrants integrate into our society through language and skills; without help these groups tend to stay isolated and are unable to access help when in need.

• Working with special needs institutions to improve the learning of special needs children, so that as they inevitably grow, they will have skills that allow them to enjoy interactions with society. To achieve our goals, we pledge to always provide the highest quality of services, with no compromises.

As a company, we strive to provide the best working conditions for our employees
