Our client is a globally recognized corporation in the travel and hospitality sector. As one of the leading brands in their industry, they provide a premium quality of service to their consumers across the globe. As a result of an internal promotion, they are now looking for a high caliber Internal Audit Manager to join the team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team to adopt new practices to become a more value added function;
- Partner the business and operations to identify practical improvements to the business;
- Work closely with the management team to help drive change and adopt changes in working practices to become more efficient;
- Engage and present effectively to business heads and work together to implement recommendations and cascade the right messages throughout the organization;
- Follow up fieldwork across the group and ensure audits and risk reports completed on a timely basis;
- Manage appropriate investigations as necessary.
Suitable candidates should be qualified finance professionals with a ACA or CPA qualification and 8-10 years of relevant experience including:
- Big 4 external audit firm training;
- Proven commercial experience working with a multinational corporation in and internal audit capacity;
- Experience of working in a finance capacity will be a distinct added advantage;
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to present effectively to senior management is essential
- A commercial and practical mindset and an ability to work with the business and identify solutions to problematic situations;
- Flexibility to travel, mostly across Asia but some global travel will be required.
