Job Summary:

The Internal Control Manager is primarily responsible for planning, executing and reporting on operational, financial, regulatory and compliance related audit reviews of Hong Kong Disneyland with a team of internal controls professionals. A secondary role is to provide advice on internal controls on new business initiatives and review/update the Company’s policies on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead key aspects of internal control activities including risk assessments, audit planning, audit testing, control evaluation, report drafting, recommendation for risk mitigation and presentation to senior management.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to evaluate, test and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in accordance with company and professional standards so as to provide insight for management to improve the business operations.
  • Perform monitoring of periodic operational and financial related data to analyze patterns and trends for risk and control implications.
  • Review and ensure the compliance of local regulatory and Corporate Standard, including but not limited to Sarbanes Oxley, Minimum Control Standard & PCI, etc.
  • Partner with other internal parties in developing policies and operating guidelines as well as conducting training to the corresponding team/LOB.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business related discipline
  • Chartered accountant with minimum 10 years’ audit experience.
  • Capable of identifying the control weaknesses and provide advices in addressing the issues
  • Solid experience in leading audit/investigation projects
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley compliance and other key control requirements (e.g. Minimum Control Standards and Accounting Standards)
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
